The French Foundations Refresh
This adult course series is designed for all levels.
This program will bring together those starting fresh,
filling in gaps and brushing up on skills,
or looking to build a more consistent and playful language practice.
This is built from the heart,
based on my linguistics training,
classroom teaching experience,
and one-on-one and family tutoring/coaching.
And more personally: on my own journey
of ups and downs in my French practice –
and which I have now settled into
in a way that feels like me,
as I am now!
That’s what I want for you, too,
and I can guide the way.
I’ve sketched out what you will need
and now you will influence how I create this experience.
Are you with me?
Step into my studio virtually,
leave everything else behind,
and be ready to immerse yourself
and enjoy the experience!
Then take it beyond the classroom into your life,
whatever that looks like.
Maybe this will set you up to remember
past relationships in other languages,
inspire you to play in any language
with your kids when you go home,
or get you ready for a future trip to France...
Whatever your reason,
let us share our experiences,
get comfortable with mistakes,
release our frustrations,
and celebrate our wins!
I see us growing in this space we create together as a community,
everyone finding their [vwa] voix “voice” & voie “way”,
and I would absolutely love to have you on this journey!
Join us this winter for the second French foundations course for adults!
We will be practicing as we build on grammatical agreement
in terms of number (singular, plural) and gender (masculine, feminine).
I picture you getting comfortable with
verb conjugations (subject-verb agreement)
and noun agreement (article - noun - adjective)
as you express yourselves in writing and speaking.
Designed to unite speakers of all levels to create a common foundation
where you can see, hear and feel the language —
how it’s both pronounced and written.
The perfect introduction, refresh, or deepening of your expression
in a curated space to foster your growth and build community connections.
Thursdays 11:00am-12:00pm Eastern.
8 weekly sessions, January 22 to March 12.
The live zoom will have opportunities for small group interaction.
Recordings and extra activities will be provided so you can practice on your own.
You will have access to our Padlet classroom and Circle community where you can continue to connect and grow.
Discount for the 1st 10 students to register!
